Good Medicine

We received the good news together at a recent appointment with the orthopedist. After just 6 weeks, my mother was successfully healing from an accidental fall. Her fractured bone was growing back and her leg was now 100% weight-bearing. She had healed like a champ! After showing us the X-rays and explaining the details, her doctor congratulated her on doing the hard work in rehab. Then he said three things, “Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year”. In other words, go and live your life and remember to celebrate.

It may feel like the world has had a bad fall. Many are suffering from broken dreams and broken spirits, diminishing our ability to bear the weight of challenges. Fatigue is the word I often hear these days. But “be of good cheer”! The ability to heal like a champ is available to all of us.

The Word of God is a powerful vaccine against the ills of this world with benefits of peace, hope, strength and healing.

God’s Word is a soothing balm of loving assurance. He has promised to “mend a bruised reed and nurse a dying wick back to flame”.  Isaiah 42:3

As a remedy this Holiday Season, I would like to offer some rehab for the soul through my company Mamala Media. My passion is to provide life-giving resources through music, books and animation giving your family options in media with an emphasis on scripture and the wonderful ways of God.

The Lifetime Scripture Song albums, “Wonderfully Made” and “Sweet Dreams” are the perfect combination of bible verses set to joyful music. The companion book to the Sweet Dreams album is sure to become a family tradition. The animation from our “Treasure Toons” animated videos will bring you and your family what we all need, the merry medicine of good laughter.

Please enjoy all of these resources at 20% off from mamalamedia.com during our Black Friday Special Offer now through December 15! (Use discount code: SALE2020 at checkout).

Your family matters to us because they matter to you. Give them gifts they’ll enjoy for a lifetime! And as my mother’s doctor said, “Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”  Now go celebrate!

“A cheerful heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.” Proverbs 17:22
